How many unit types/models are there in total?

Since we are not allowed to create and import custom models, approximately how many unit models are in the game to be used? Also, all the units present in the campaign are also usable in custom maps, including bosses, special units, etc. right?

Speaking of which, are there any units in the map editor that is not in the actual campaign (i.e. a unit that was made, but later decided to be not well suited to the campaign)? For example in Starcraft 2, some units that were balance-tested and removed are in the map editor but not present in the actual campaign/multiplayer portion of the game.

And how many custom abilities can you give a unit in the map editor, is it still limited to 2 abilities maximum per unit?

Around 20 Units.

Yes.

Are there any units in the map editor that is not in the actual campaign ?


No, we used all the units available on the campaign, but some are more used than others.

All the units in the game have 2 special abilities that you can't change.
When you go to the Editor, you specify the team, the level of the unit and then place the unit. After this you're ready to go.

If you want, you can make some things like, create a trigger that does something like this: If a given squad get to a certain place, heal that specific squad.

This is one example of what you can do but you can create some other cool things like this.

So are you saying that you cannot individually change unit stats, i.e. HP/damage, attack range, etc?

That's a bit of a downer :(.

Also, will you guys be releasing another Editor video? It was mentioned that a second Editor video was in the works a while ago.

Lastly, can the map editor create "destructible" walls/buildings? For example if I want to create some sort of co-op vs AI castle defense map, and want the walls to be destroyable by the AI over time, is this possible to do?

Depending on how the game sells on the PSN, do you guys plan to support the creation community by releasing new content (ex: units, missions, building types, terrain types, etc?) as DLC later down the road?

We shall see. There are plans for some stuff yes.
It will depend on what the user wants more, but the game has all the tools needed to create lots of stuff right now.
